Carboxy Treatment

1. Is Carboxy therapy permanent?
Ans: Yes, Carboxy therapy is semi permanent. The cumulative results last for very long but since aging is a continuous process the re-appearance of scars or sagging or open pores will eventually occur due to break down of collagen and decreased production of both collagen & elastin. So, maintenance sessions after completing the treatment, 1 in 6 months is required.

2. Does Carboxy therapy really work / How does Carboxy therapy work for scar removal?
Ans: By Carboxy treatment we are increasing the carbon dioxide gas in the skin raising a false claim of oxygen deficit so the body directs more of oxygen to the skin, increases supply of growth factors, promotes new blood vessels production and increases the nutrient supply to the treated area of the skin. So, more collagen is produced in an organised way which tightens the skin, reduces the scars and open pores and appearance of fat eye bags.

3. Is Carboxy therapy painful?
Ans: Carboxy therapy causes slight throbbing sensation and mild discomfort. But it is not a very painful procedure. So, no anaesthetic is required.

4. How long will the benefits last?
Ans: Benefits last for a very long time as the results are cumulative but since aging is a continuous process due to internal factors and external factors like pollution UV light and addictions like smoking, a maintenance session every 6 months is required.
